Are you a 6th grade student ready to grow deeper in your faith? We would love to have you join us on the Confirmation Journey!
Confirmation is the time when a personal decision is made to confirm the vows of our baptism. At FUMC, this happens during the sixth grade from August to May in a small group setting. During Sunday School, students will explore who Christ is, what it means to know him through a life-long relationship and how we claim the name as United Methodists. The confirmation celebration in May worship is the first public affirmation of the student's own faith.
Confirmation is not simply a rite of passage, nor just a class to complete. It is a step in a life long journey of pursuing the depths of God's love and making a promise to live in a relationship with him.
